Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Gombos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenton Okunaba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Gombos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenton Okunaba!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gombos has hold of Okunaba's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Okunaba manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gombos moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Okunaba has worked his arm free - good work by Okunaba!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gombos throws a looping overhand right but Okunaba ducks down to avoid it.

Dan Gombos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Okunaba displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gombos throws out the jab.
Okunaba throws a body shot but no joy.

Okunaba is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gombos rather than just go for the knockout.

Gombos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Okunaba looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gombos here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Kenton Okunaba comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gombos has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dan Gombos decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
