The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Arquette has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Arquette is out of range.
Arquette paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Darrow Jackson has been cut.

Jackson gets caught napping as Arquette dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Arquette cracks Jackson with a solid left hand.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Arquette controls the pace.
Arquette working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Arquette sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Jackson keeping moving, preventing Arquette from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arquette chips away with some ground and pound.
Arquette distracts Jackson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Arquette scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Jackson is rocked!

Arquette postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Jackson's head off the mat! Jackson is out! He's out! Arquette jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
