Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Felterbush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bugaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as David Bugaev enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnie Felterbush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Bugaev!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugaev throws a big shot that misses.
Bugaev throws a hook but Felterbush avoids it easily.

Bugaev moves into the clinch.
Bugaev lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Felterbush blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bugaev stalls.
Bugaev wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bugaev digs a right hand into Felterbush's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Felterbush's gas tank.
Felterbush has a couple of punches blocked by Bugaev.
Bugaev throws a punch but it's blocked by Felterbush.
Felterbush throws a head punch that misses.

Bugaev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Felterbush throws a hook to the side of Bugaev's head but Bugaev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Felterbush shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Felterbush not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Bugaev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Felterbush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bugaev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bugaev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bugaev wants to improve his position but Felterbush is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bugaev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Felterbush bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bugaev's guard.

Felterbush is working Bugaev over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bugaev wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Bugaev lands a really nice looking cross but Felterbush seems unphased.


It looks like Donnie Felterbush has been cut.
Felterbush lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bugaev at a distance.
We've been told by Felterbush's head coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bugaev goes for a double leg but Felterbush avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Felterbush continues to drive forward.
Donnie Felterbush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Felterbush lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oooooh!!! Felterbush has knocked Bugaev down with a huge combo! Felterbush steps away and waves a wobbly Bugaev back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
