Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Selfie Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zang Zhai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhai is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sampans. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Lord as he connects with a hook.
Lord scores with a jab to the body.
Zhai takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Zhai avoids the body shot from Lord.
Lord lands a body shot.
Zhai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Zhai misses with a left hand
and Lord connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lord takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Zhai scores with a hook to the body. Lord takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've been told by Lord's head coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lord's corner calls for a 1-2. Lord obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lord throws a big shot that misses.
Zhai throws out a counter right but Lord avoids it with no problem.
Lord misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zhai.
Zhai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Lord throws a nice outside leg kick.

Lord bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zhai's head.
Lord throws a body shot but no joy.
A telegraphed right hand from Lord misses the target.
Zhai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Zhai takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zhai throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Lord counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zhai keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

And Zhai responds with a good body kick, but Lord manages to step out the way in time.

Zhai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lord manages to avoid it.
Lord bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Zhai throws a shot from downtown. Lord moves away and avoids it.
Zhai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lord gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Lord checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Zhai clobbers Lord with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lord avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zhai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice defenses there by Zhai.
Zhai is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Zhai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lord was well out of range. Poor timing from Zhai.
Lord catches Zhai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lord walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zhai.
Lord uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zhai.
Zhai ducks under a wild hook from Lord.
A cross from Zhai lands.
Zhai slips under a jab from Lord.
A jab lands there for Zhai.
Lord throws a jab but it's blocked by Zhai.
Lord misses with a wild body shot.

and Zhai counters with a one-two to the body.
Lord misses with a looping right.
Zhai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lord.
Lord throws a hook but Zhai avoids it easily.
Zhai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lord misses with a series of wild punches.

Lord takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zhai throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Zhai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lord.
It seemed like Zhai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lord just misses with a punch to the body.
Lord's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zhai connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lord scrambles back to his feet.

and Zhai counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lord thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lord buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zhai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lord.
Lord misses with a looping left.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Selfie Lord dominated that round.

Lord walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zhai checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lord thuds his right hand into Zhai's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lord misses with a low kick as Zhai jumps back.
Selfie Lord is winning the standup battle so far.
Zhai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lord.
Zhai is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Lord thuds his right hand into Zhai's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lord throws a leg kick but Zhai checks it.
Lord is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zhai.
Nice shot lands for Zhai.
Lord comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lord is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zhai can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zhai has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Zhai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lord throws out the jab.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooh!!! Lord has knocked Zhai down with a huge combo! Lord steps away and waves a wobbly Zhai back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Zhai is still on wobbly legs! Can Lord finish him?
Lord moves out of range of the body kick.
Lord throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lord scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zhai fails to land with a series of punches.
Lord lands a big right hand that sends Zhai crashing to the mat! Lord stays standing though and waves Zhai back to his feet!
Lord blocks the body kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Zhai might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Lord has got the better of the exchanges.
Zhai does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Zhai lands with a nice body punch.
Lord will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A big left from Zhai misses.
A head kick by Lord - that's a beauty! Zhai is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Lord can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Selfie Lord!
