Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Big Kass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kass slips a jab and a cross from Allan.

Kass uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Allan.
Allan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Kass has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kass tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Kass. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Allan tries to work over Kass's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kass will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Allan up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Kass will probably get the nod.

Kass fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Allan square on the jaw! Damn, Allan is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
