Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyrkyx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Not again - You all ready dropped?. Dall has chosen The Worm as his entrance music. Derek Harris has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dall is out of range.
Harris takes a swing at Dall's ribcage but misses.
Dall appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Dall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harris misses with a right hand
and Dall counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Harris stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Harris connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Harris moves out of range as Dall strikes.

Dall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Dall wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position.
Harris pulls Dall in close to his closed guard and prevents Dall from doing any damage or advancing position.
Dall slips nicely into half guard.
Harris is looking to escape.

Dall works his way into side control.

Dall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've been told by Harris's head coaches at Team Migraine that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Harris scores with a body shot.
Harris throws a hook but Dall blocks it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Harris.
Some bone on bone action there as Harris checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dall moves away.

and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dall scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Harris connects with a single shot there.
Derek Harris is winning the standup battle so far.

Dall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dall feints and as Harris raises his hands in defense, Dall changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vyrkyx Dall has got the better of the ground game so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dall trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Harris manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Dall has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Harris doesn't defend quickly enough and Dall has managed to lock this one up! Can Harris escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dall on a fantastic submission victory.
