Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stella Artois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danielos Pawiloks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stella Artois has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawiloks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Artois pinned against the cage. Artois gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pawiloks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Artois sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pawiloks somewhat.
Artois drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pawiloks sprawls and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pawiloks.

Artois connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pawiloks momentarily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pawiloks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Artois swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Artois is looking to stand up but Pawiloks isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Pawiloks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Artois has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pawiloks is on him like a limpet, forcing Artois back against the cage.

Pawiloks's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pawiloks's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Stella Artois will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stella Artois.
