The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calabara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Calabara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zaitsev misses with a leg kick.
Zaitsev throws a shot from downtown. Calabara moves away and avoids it.
Zaitsev misses with a double jab
and Calabara counters with a one-two to the body.
A low kick from Zaitsev is predictable there
and Calabara counters with a head kick. That will keep Zaitsev thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Calabara fakes the leg kick and cracks Zaitsev in the body.
Calabara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zaitsev.
Zaitsev throws a head kick but Calabara moves out of range.
Calabara takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Zaitsev cracks Calabara with a good jab.

Calabara is looking to clinch but Zaitsev is avoiding it.

Calabara looks for the body kick but Zaitsev saw that one coming.

Zaitsev tries to score with a low kick but Calabara moves his leg out of the way.
Calabara flicks out a counter leg kick but Zaitsev steps away.
Zaitsev thows a left - swing and a miss!
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Calabara! But no joy.
Calabara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zaitsevs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Good exchange - Zaitsev coming out on top.
Calabara lunges at Zaitsev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zaitsev's hand.
Calabara moves away from the strike by Zaitsev.
Calabara is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
A slow jab from Zaitsev misses its intended target.
Zaitsev dodges the punch combination from Calabara.
Calabara bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Good leg kick by Zaitsev there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Calabara moves out of range as Zaitsev strikes.
Calabara is trying to counter with his kicks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Calabara.
Zaitsev lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Calabara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zaitsev finds it's way round the side to connect with Calabara's head.
Calabara moves away from the strike by Zaitsev.
Calabara follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Calabara keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zaitsev.
Calabara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zaitsev was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Zaitsev punishes Calabara's body with a nice straight punch.
Calabara scores with a kick to the body.
Calabara slips a jab from Zaitsev.
Calabara takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Calabara on the wrong end of a nice hook.

That has opened up Carlos Calabara's cut even more.
Calabara blocks a low kick nicely.
Calabara tries to clinch but Zaitsev is having none of it.
Calabara tries to get into range but Zaitsev steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Calabara! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Zaitsev scores the big KO victory!
