The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poggle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hjelmslev.
Poggle misses with a looping right.
Hjelmslev misses with a shot to the body
and Poggle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Poggle lands a jab.
Poggle checks a low kick from Hjelmslev.
Hjelmslev throws a lazy right hand but Poggle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Poggle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hjelmslev's calf.
A jab from Poggle does it's job there.
Ragnar Hjelmslev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hjelmslev lands an overhand right.
Hjelmslev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Poggle sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Poggle wants to counter the offense by Hjelmslev and move into the clinch position.
Hjelmslev lands with a right hand.
Hjelmslev takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Poggle connects with a body shot that sends Hjelmslev's belly button to the back.
Poggle punishes Hjelmslev's body with a nice straight punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hjelmslev. Poggle does a little dance to reset his feet.

Poggle lands a big head kick that sends Hjelmslev tumbling to the mat! Poggle takes a step backwards and waves Hjelmslev back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Poggle counters with a good low kick that Hjelmslev was not able to check.
Hjelmslev seems to have got his legs back now.

Poggle moves away from the strike by Hjelmslev.
Poggle bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Poggle connects with a crisp jab.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Poggle.
Hjelmslev is breathing heavily.
Poggle blocks a jab.
Poggle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Poggle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hjelmslev throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Poggle counters with a crisp one two that drops Hjelmslev! Poggle thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hjelmslev to his feet! Hjelmslev is in big trouble!
Nice body kick there by Poggle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Poggle.

Poggle drops Hjelmslev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hjelmslev looks back up at him and smiles so Poggle waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hjelmslev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Poggle.
Poggle lunges at Hjelmslev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hjelmslev's hand.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Poggle! Hjelmslev is backing up but he can't get away as Poggle lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Hjelmslev and ends the fight. Great knockout.
