The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Za tries to counter with a takedown but Axelsson is quick to defend against it.

Axelsson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Za on his heels. He'll look to pass Za's guard now, I'm sure.

Za looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Za is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Axelsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Za has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Axelsson has managed to get both his arms back between Za's legs - danger averted.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Axelsson is sitting in close to Za's body. Za has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Axelsson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Axelsson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Za.
