PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Palentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palentine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hava Nagila. Rock has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock moves in looking to clinch but Palentine pushes him off.

Palentine digs a good hook to Rock's body.

Rock misses with a left hand

Rock tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palentine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looked like Palentine was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rock.

Rock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Rock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Palentine walks away with a smile on his face. Rock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rock throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A quick step to the side and Palentine tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rock throws a hook to the side of Palentine's head but Palentine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Palentine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Palentine was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rock takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby Palentine will probably get the nod.
