Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Lockyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Lockyer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Parker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lockyer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lockyer throws a jab but it's blocked by Parker.
Lockyer sets himself, and Parker steps forward looking for the clinch! Lockyer avoids it this time.
We've been informed that Parker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Parker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lockyer - the referee stops the clock and Parker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lockyer. Parker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Parker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Parker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lockyer stuns Parker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Lockyer tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lockyer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parker can do to turn this around?

Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lockyer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Parker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lockyer scrambles back to his feet.
