The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farmer scores with a takedown into Bellokima's guard.
Bellokima is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Farmer dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Farmer is trying to get an arm triangle but Bellokima is defending well.
Bellokima tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Farmer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Farmer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bellokima, who protects the arm well.
Farmer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Farmer swings around for an armbar but Bellokima sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Farmer's guard.

Farmer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bellokima manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Farmer has Bellokima in his guard.

Bellokima wants to get up but he can't break Farmer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bellokima has gone for a leg lock! Farmer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bellokima's guard.

Bellokima working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
