The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Easterly.
Smith raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Easterly.
Easterly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
Smith throws out a counter right but Easterly avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Holden Easterly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Easterly doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Easterly moves to clinch but Smith breaks away
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Holden Easterly has been cut.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith scores with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Easterly looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Easterly has time to react.

Smith cracks Easterly with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Easterly looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?

Easterly is rocked!

Easterly tries to get into range but Smith steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Easterly! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Smith scores the big KO victory!
