Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Harrison Yates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Bowman!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yates connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bowman. Bowman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Yates misses with a kick to the body.
Bowman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Yates cracks the inside of Bowman's front leg.
Yates looks to score with a jab to the body but Bowman is just out of range.
Bowman throws a counter combo.
Bowman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bowman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yates. Yates obviously looking to wear him down.
Yates thuds his shin into the meat of Bowman's side.
Bowman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yates misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bowman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yates works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Yates throws a lazy right hand but Bowman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bowman is looking for the big counter here.
Yates lands a leg kick that knocks Bowman off balance momentarily.
Bowman misses with a few strikes there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yates misses with a series of wild punches.
Bowman closes the distance and clinches up with Yates, looking for a takedown. Bowman pushes Yates against the cage but Yates circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yates misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bowman.
Yates jabs Bowman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bowman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yates as he jumps to the side.
Harrison Yates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casey Bowman.
Yates throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bowman throws a head kick that misses.
Yates scores with a nice strike.
Yates comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Yates dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bowman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bowman shoots in for a takedown but Yates shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Yates is looking to counter punch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bone on bone clash there as Yates blocks the leg kick.
Harrison Yates is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yates lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yates moves out of range of the leg kick from Bowman.
Bowman takes one to the side of the head.


It looks like Casey Bowman has been cut.
Bowman lands with a kick to the temple. Yates shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Yates lands a big head kick that sends Bowman tumbling to the mat! Yates takes a step backwards and waves Bowman back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Bowman is rocked!
Yates cracks Bowman on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bowman falls backwards against the cage. Yates follows up with more strikes that drop Bowman to his knees. Yates keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bowman! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harrison Yates!
In defeat, Casey Bowman stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want to thank my team, my sponsor and of course my opponent for this fight. Today he was the better fighter...'.
