Spong comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be touched. The crowd seem to be enjoying Grimes's choice of entrance music: "Cyanide" by Metallica. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grimes takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Brian Grimes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grimes might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Grimes lands a big uppercut and Spong crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Spong looks OK. Grimes waves Spong back to his feet!
Spong walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Grimes! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

After the fight, Brian Grimes was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Tyrone Spong spoke after the fight, saying 'This loss will only make me train harder and come back stronger. I promise I'll be back better then ever!'.
