The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hager shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Martinez is trying to get back to full guard.
Hager is taking a breather. Martinez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Martinez is looking to get back to full guard here but Hager has managed to pass to side control instead.
Martinez is looking to reverse the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hager postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Martinez in real trouble here! The ref calls for Martinez to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
