Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garegin Balayan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer Ho struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balayan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ho.
Balayan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Balayan works the jab nicely.

It looks like Spencer Ho has been cut.
Balayan keeps Ho at a distance using the push kick.
Ho fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Balayan avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balayan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Balayan scores with a head kick. Ho tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A slapping leg kick lands for Balayan.
Garegin Balayan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ho takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Ho tries to move into range but Balayan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ho takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Balayan lands a nice hook to Ho's body. Ho takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Good leg kick by Balayan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ho ducks right into an uppercut from Balayan.

Balayan lands a left and a right that send Ho crashing to the mat, dazed. Balayan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ho is rocked!
Ho wants to stay close but Balayan steps back to make room for something. Ho seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Balayan and Ho drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
