Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Olaf Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Gunnar Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost looks to land a combination. Jensen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Frost loads up on a big right hand but Jensen slips the punch.
Jensen with the counter takedown but Frost avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Frost misses its intended target.
Frost throws a shot from downtown. Jensen moves away and avoids it.
Frost scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Frost throws a hook but Jensen blocks it.
And Jensen tries to counter it with a takedown but Frost pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost misses with a wild body shot.
Frost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jensen was well out of range. Poor timing from Frost.
Olaf Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frost turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Frost misses with a body shot.
Jensen feints the counter takedown.

Jensen is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Frost bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

An inside leg kick lands from Frost.
Jensen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frost can pounce on him.
Frost fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jensen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Frost throws a leg kick but Jensen sees it coming and moves out of range.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Frost content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Frost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jensen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jensen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Frost avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Olaf Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunnar Jensen.
Jensen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Frost gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
With the fighters up against the cage, Frost throws an elbow but misses.
Frost is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jensen can do to turn this around?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Frost rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Frost is pulling down on Jensen's head to control his posture.
Frost looking for a sweep. Not yet Frost, not yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Frost wants to sweep here but Jensen controlling him for the moment.

Frost manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Jensen ducks under a wild hook from Frost.
Frost lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Frost thuds a left hand into Jensen's body.
Frost tries a head kick but it misses.
Jensen's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Frost lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Frost throws a right and a left that Jensen avoids nicely.
Frost connects with a looping right hand.
Jensen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jensen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Frost cracks Jensen with a right hand to the side of the head.

Jensen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frost.

Frost tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jensen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Frost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jensen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Frost throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Frost is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Frost fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jensen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Frost lands a nice shot to the body.

Jensen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
