Magn has chosen Thor - Let the Blood Run Red as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magn throws a head kick that misses.
We've been hearing reports that Aires has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Aires throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Magn tries to move into range but Aires moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Magn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aires.

Magn closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Aires tries to score a power double leg takedown but Magn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Aires somewhat.
Magn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aires has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Magn tries to close the distance and clinch but Aires swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Aires slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
