Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaman lands a lovely overhand right.
Shaman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fortune is out of range and Shaman settles back down.
Shaman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fortune staying out of range there.
Fortune on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fortune throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shaman throws a leg kick which misses Fortune's front leg but catches the back leg as Fortune tries to avoid it.
Shaman just misses with a punch to the body.
Fortune went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Fortune throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fortune ducks under a wild hook from Shaman.
Shaman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fortune walks into a stiff left hand from Shaman.

and Shaman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fortune takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It looked like Fortune wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Shaman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fortune doesn't seem bothered though.

Shaman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fortune connects with a high kick.

and Shaman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Shaman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Shaman throws an overhand right that lands on Fortune's shoulder, as Fortune tries to avoid the shot.
Fortune throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blind Shaman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shaman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fortune looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Shaman throws a hook but Fortune blocks it.

Fortune uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shaman.

Shaman catches Fortune with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Fortune connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Shaman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That kick from Fortune tenderised Shaman's leg. Shaman is trying to keep his angry face on.

Shaman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fortune had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Shaman. Fortune shrugs it off though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shaman misses with an uppercut. Fortune saw that one coming.
Fortune takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shaman tries to close the distance and clinch but Fortune swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shaman works the jab nicely.
Shaman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dominic Fortune is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No joy there for Fortune, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fortune uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Shaman.
Shaman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fortune was well out of range. Poor timing from Shaman.
Fortune slips under a jab.
As Shaman looks to move away, Fortune throws a big counter combo but Shaman just gets out of the way.
Fortune is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blind Shaman dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fortune missing with a left hand there. Shaman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shaman throws a shot from downtown. Fortune moves away and avoids it.
Fortune lands a nice shot to the body.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fortune might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Shaman looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fortune looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fortune lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Fortune misses with a wild combination.
Shaman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fortune.
Fortune tries to counter with a takedown but Shaman is quick to defend against it.
Fortune lands with an uppercut that bounces Shaman off the cage and back into range.

Shaman lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Fortune goes down and covers up as Shaman starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blind Shaman!
After winning the bout, Blind Shaman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
