Tanahashi's entrance music is Blood Stain Child - Stargazer. A fine choice. Satoshi Tanahashi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanahashi misses the jab.
Tanahashi takes a swing at Fortisimo's ribcage but misses.
Fortisimo connects with an inside leg kick.
Tanahashi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Tanahashi shoots for a takedown but Fortisimo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fortisimo avoids the head kick by Tanahashi.
Fortisimo steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tanahashi.
Nice jab there from Fortisimo.
Tanahashi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fortisimo defends it nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Fortisimo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortisimo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanahashi manages to avoid it.
Tanahashi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fortisimo swings for the body but Tanahashi moves out of range.
Fortisimo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tanahashi. That did some damage!
Tanahashi thumps Fortisimo with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tanahashi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fortisimo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanahashi scores with a nice strike.
Tanahashi throws a body punch but Fortisimo moves out of range.
Fortisimo throws out a counter right but Tanahashi avoids it with no problem.
Tanahashi lands a nice hook to Fortisimo's body. Fortisimo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tanahashi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fortisimo throws a leg kick which misses Tanahashi's front leg but catches the back leg as Tanahashi tries to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fortisimo, right into the meat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fortisimo.

Tanahashi attempts a counter takedown but Fortisimo avoids it well and moves away.
Fortisimo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tanahashi is trying to pull guard but Fortisimo has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satoshi Tanahashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanahashi jumps guard and drags Fortisimo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tanahashi looking for a triangle here. Fortisimo is fighting it but it looks tight! Tanahashi pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Fortisimo is tapping out - this one is all over!
