Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Stafford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Calvin Stafford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dylan Snow!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snow clinches up with Stafford and pushes him back against the cage.

Snow pulls guard.
Stafford preventing the sweep.
Snow is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Stafford missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Snow is working an open guard so Stafford takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Stafford tries to keep at a distance but Snow has taken the fight into the clinch.

Stafford has picked Snow up - he's going for a ride! Stafford dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Snow wants to get back to his feet.
Stafford throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Snow desperately trying to maintain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snow moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Stafford trying to control but Snow is working from the bottom.

Stafford fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Snow avoids it really well and circles away.

As Snow looks to move away, Stafford throws a big counter combo but Snow just gets out of the way.

Snow has closed the distance and engaged Stafford in a clinch.
Stafford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snow decides to pull guard.
Snow wants to sweep but no luck.
Snow has a closed guard, preventing Stafford from standing up.
Snow wants to stand but Stafford is controlling the position.

Snow tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stafford is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Snow is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Snow has escaped and now he's on top!

Stafford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Snow decides to stand and escape the position.

Snow takes the fight into the clinch.

Snow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stafford uses from the top position.

Snow throws a head kick that misses
and Stafford counters with a three punch combo that has Snow backing up. Snow nods at Stafford to acknowledge the strikes.
Dylan Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stafford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side.

Snow manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stafford on his heels. He'll look to pass Stafford's guard now, I'm sure.

Snow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Snow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Stafford is staying active underneath Snow, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow is breathing heavily.
Stafford has hold of Snow's hands but Snow slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Snow stays in close to Stafford's body and controls the position.
Snow wants to control from the top but Stafford keeps moving.

Snow is trying to trip Stafford. He has hold of a leg but Stafford is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Snow persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Snow is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dylan Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
