Mancini throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mancini throws a nice looking combination but Takada bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Takada moves into the clinch successfully.
Mancini lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Takada lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mancini backwards.

Takada wants to stall.

Mancini breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takada throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mancini counters with a nice uppercut.
Mancini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takada moves away.

Takada works the jab nicely.

Mancini tests Takada's chin there with a solid looking shot.

enabling Mancini to counter with a crisp jab.

Satoru Takada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takada avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Takada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Mancini counters with a crisp right hand that drops Takada! Mancini lets Takada back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
