Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban San Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Esteban San Pedro!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor dives in and scores a takedown into San Pedro's guard.
Taylor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Taylor's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

San Pedro is working an open guard so Taylor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Taylor misses the shot to the body.
San Pedro flicks out a counter leg kick but Taylor steps away.
San Pedro goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Taylor went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
San Pedro tried to score with a low kick but Taylor checks it.

Taylor chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before San Pedro can pounce on him.
San Pedro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Taylor appears to be looking for a big counter.

San Pedro tries to land a leg kick but Taylor saw it coming and moves away.
Taylor half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

so Taylor counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
San Pedro is trying to control the position but Taylor postures up.

Taylor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Taylor decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Taylor avoids the body shot from San Pedro.
San Pedro connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
San Pedro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
San Pedro just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromTaylor.
We've been informed that San Pedro has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Taylor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Taylor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Taylor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down San Pedro for as long as he can get away with.
Taylor winds up and cracks San Pedro with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Taylor connects with a nice short shot to San Pedro's temple.

Taylor maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! San Pedro could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Taylor has cracked it and San Pedro is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Taylor!
