and Ryan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ryan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Lansky is rocked!

Mack Lansky's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ryan is pawing at Lansky, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lansky's nose. Lansky is badly hurt! Ryan pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lansky tries desperately to hold on but Ryan is relentless in his assault! As Lansky receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Ryan away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Ryan!
Jimmy Ryan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
