Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Corll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvio Provenza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Provenza has chosen Madreblu - Certamente as his entrance music. Silvio Provenza is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Corll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Silvio Provenza!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll lands an overhand right.
Provenza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Provenza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Provenza shoots and misses
and Corll counters with a right hand to the body.
Provenza tries for a takedown but Corll sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Corll looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dean Corll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silvio Provenza.
Corll misses with a two punch combination.
And Provenza tries to counter it with a takedown but Corll pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A big left from Corll misses.
Corll thows a left - swing and a miss!
Provenza takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Corll scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Corll throws a body punch but Provenza moves out of range.
A jab from Corll finds it's way through Provenza's defenses.
Provenza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corll throws the left hand but Provenza avoids the punch easily.
Corll throws a right and a left that both miss.
Corll misses with an uppercut.
Provenza is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Corll lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Provenza at a distance.
Corll's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Corll duly obliges.
Silvio Provenza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Provenza blocks a jab.
Provenza drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Corll defends it well.
Corll throws a right and a left that Provenza avoids nicely.
Corll throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Provenza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Corll dips to his left and cracks Provenza with an uppercut!
Provenza keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Provenza tries to counter it with a takedown but Corll pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dean Corll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Corll smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Corll gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Provenza to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Provenza wants to control from the top but Corll keeps moving.
Provenza loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Provenza trying to control but Corll is working from the bottom.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Corll manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Corll breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Provenza takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Provenza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Provenza tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Provenza is rocked!
Corll throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Provenza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Provenza is still on wobbly legs! Can Corll finish him?
Provenza looks winded!
Corll shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Provenza takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Corll sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Provenza bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dean Corll!
