The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xerxes walks into a straight right hand from Wesley.

It looks like Rostam Xerxes has been cut.
Wesley lands a slapping body shot.
Xerxes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wesley missing with a left hand there. Xerxes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wesley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Xerxes.

Wesley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Xerxes is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Xerxes misses with a body shot.
Xerxes connects with the punch.
Xerxes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wesley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wesley takes a swing at Xerxes's ribcage but misses.
Xerxes misses the shot to the body.
Wesley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Xerxes moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Wesley counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Xerxes lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Christian Wesley has been cut.
Xerxes throws a big shot that misses.
Xerxes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wesley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Xerxes gets in close and tags Wesley with a short punch that almost sends Wesley to the mat! Oh Wesley is in big trouble! He turns his back on Xerxes, trying to create some distance but Xerxes rushes him, striking wildly and Wesley goes down! The referee tackles Xerxes into the cage to end the fight! Xerxes is one violent man!

A very excited looking Rostam Xerxes rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
