The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wills Jr has closed the distance and engaged Maxine in a clinch.

Wills Jr lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Maxine backs up against the cage.

Maxine misses with a head kick.
Wills Jr unleashes a big counter combination but Maxine bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Maxine swats away the attempt to clinch by Wills Jr.

Maxine doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Maxine is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wills Jr.
Maxine plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Wilson Wills Jr has been cut.

The crowd cheers as Wills Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maxine doesn't seem phased though.

Wills Jr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Maxine misses with an elbow strike.
Maxine has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wills Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Wills Jr lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Maxine backwards.
Wills Jr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maxine walks away with a smile on his face. Wills Jr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Wills Jr lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wills Jr.
Maxine seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Maxine looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Maxine is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oh Maxine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wills Jr dips a shoulder and cracks Maxine with a mighty uppercut! Maxine falls back against the cage and Wills Jr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Maxine is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Wills Jr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
