Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Nitschke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Hjelmslev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hjelmslev has chosen I Touch Myself as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Nitschke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ragnar Hjelmslev!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hjelmslev cracks Nitschke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ragnar Hjelmslev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hjelmslev throws out a loose jab but Nitschke uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Nitschke counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hjelmslev!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nitschke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Damian Nitschke has been cut.
A lazy left from Nitschke finds it's target.

Hjelmslev misses with a few strikes there.
Nitschke lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hjelmslev scores with a leg kick.

Nitschke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ragnar Hjelmslev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hjelmslev misses with a looping right.
Nitschke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hjelmslev moves away.
Nitschke scores with a head kick. Hjelmslev tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


Hjelmslev is rocked!
Hjelmslev tests Nitschke's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hjelmslev is still on wobbly legs! Can Nitschke finish him?
Hjelmslev takes one on the button.
Nitschke slips a straight right by Hjelmslev.
Nitschke checks a low kick from Hjelmslev.
Nitschke changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damian Nitschke dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Damian Nitschke's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Whack! Nitschke lands a heavy head kick that drops Hjelmslev. The ref tackles Nitschke to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hjelmslev was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Damian Nitschke!
In his post fight interview, Damian Nitschke gave a big smile as he said 'Thanks to everyone that supported me when I was going through rough times. I'm back, baby!'.
Ragnar Hjelmslev spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that about sucks. Fuck that shit, I quit this human punching bag rap. Guess that porn star thing will come in handy as a new career.'.
