Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Hellroq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hellroq comes to the cage accompanied by This Means War. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manuel Rios!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellroq chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rios can pounce on him.
Rios connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hellroq momentarily.
Hellroq takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hellroq throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rios counters with a stiff right hand.
Rios scores with a nice right hand.
Hellroq swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rios counters by clinching up.
We've been hearing reports that Hellroq has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looks like Boris Hellroq has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rios creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hellroq is rocked!
Rios creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Hellroq's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Hellroq drops to his knees and Rios pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manuel Rios!
