Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maximus Meridius!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Meridius looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A little feinted left hand from Chance on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A cross from Chance lands.
Meridius has a takedown stuffed.
Meridius waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chance .
Meridius looks to land a right hand but Chance moved out of range.
Meridius is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chance .
Meridius throws a hook but Chance avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chance lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Meridius backs up against the cage.
Meridius misses with a looping right.
Meridius is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chance connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Meridius momentarily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Meridius has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Chance throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chance drops Meridius with a beautiful combination! Meridius stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chance is looking for the KO!
Meridius is rocked!
Meridius is looking to clinch.
Meridius is still on wobbly legs! Can Chance finish him?
Chance sizes up Meridius with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice body punch from Chance .
Meridius has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chance finds it's way round the side to connect with Meridius's head.
Punchers Chance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chance drops Meridius with a huge uppercut! Meridius drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Chance is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Punchers Chance !
