Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hematoma Hominick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Police Officer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Officer with that takedown attempt.
Hominick jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Officer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hominick throws a head kick that half lands.
Hominick throws the kick towards the body but Officer avoids it.
Hominick looks for the body kick but Officer saw that one coming.
Officer goes for a double leg but Hominick avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hominick continues to drive forward.
Hematoma Hominick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Police Officer.
Officer shoots in but Hominick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Officer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hominick defends it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Officer has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hominick.
Officer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hominick defends well and Officer ends up having to push Hominick into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hominick throws a front kick that sends Officer stumbling back into the cage.
Officer tries for a takedown but Hominick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Officer with a poor takedown
and Hominick counters with a body kick that stops Officer in his tracks momentarily.
Hominick scores with a nice right hand.
Hominick connects with a high kick.

Officer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hominick keeping moving, preventing Officer from controlling successfully.

Officer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Officer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hominick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Officer is one step ahead there.
Hominick trying to control the position.

Hominick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Officer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Officer advances to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Officer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hominick is staying active underneath Officer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Officer seems to be working for a kimura but Hominick defends the submission attempt.
Hominick wants to improve his position but Officer is controlling well.

Officer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Officer blocks the strikes from Hominick.
Hominick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Officer on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hominick trying to control but Officer postures up.
Hominick is trying to stand.
Hominick tries to get to full guard but Officer has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Officer moves out of range as Hominick throws a body kick.

Officer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Officer showed some decent athleticism there.

Officer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hominick has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hominick pushes Officer off, looking to escape but Officer dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Hominick is forced to tap! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Police Officer!
An out of breath and clearly excited Police Officer thanked Humanoid Nutrition (160Q for 160$) for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
