Feltre is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Someday Never Comes. Johny Chambers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Felipe Feltre's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johny Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feltre misses with a hook
and Chambers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Chambers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Feltre napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Feltre is looking for a sweep.
Chambers is looking to take a break and control but Feltre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Feltre dodges the ground and pound from Chambers.
Feltre manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Chambers is nestled in close to Feltre, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chambers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Feltre has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chambers is working away from the top position though.

Chambers is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Feltre avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chambers.
Feltre is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chambers scores with a couple of nice shots.
Feltre moves into full guard.
Chambers throws a big right hand that misses.
Chambers is fighting to break Feltre's control of his arms but Feltre is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Chambers wants to control from the top but Feltre keeps moving.
Chambers is working Feltre over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Feltre is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Feltre looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chambers connects with a couple of short punches.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chambers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Feltre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chambers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chambers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Feltre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chambers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chambers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Feltre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chambers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Feltre pushes a forearm under Chambers's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Chambers is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Felipe Feltre!
In his post fight interview, Felipe Feltre started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
