Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milford Mejia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Zambrana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zambrana is looking to clinch but Mejia is avoiding it.
Zambrana throws a body punch but Mejia moves out of range.
Zambrana tries to clinch but Mejia is having none of it.

Mejia closes the distance and pushes Zambrana back into the cage.

Mejia seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zambrana for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Zambrana tries to clinch but Mejia is having none of it.

Zambrana pulls guard effortlessly.
Mejia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zambrana tries to strike from the bottom.
Mejia slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Mejia.

Mejia stands up from Zambrana's guard - Mejia perhaps looking for a knockout.
Zambrana tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mejia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mejia gets caught napping as Zambrana dives in and scores a takedown. Mejia manages to retain guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mejia manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zambrana manages to pull guard.
Mejia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Zambrana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mario Zambrana will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mejia is trying to push Zambrana away but Zambrana has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Zambrana jumps guard and drags Mejia to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zambrana closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

and Mejia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Zambrana has closed the distance and engaged Mejia in a clinch.
Zambrana has had enough of the clinch but Mejia keeps him there for the moment.
Zambrana tries to break free but Mejia pushes him back against the cage.

Mejia breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zambrana wobbles Mejia with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Zambrana dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Mejia to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
