Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iko Morrowind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrowind's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Make That Sh*t Work. Iko Morrowind has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrowind swings for the body but Alves moves out of range.
Morrowind has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.

Alves drives through and clinches with Morrowind against the cage.
Alves landing knees to the body.

Morrowind breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morrowind fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've been informed that Alves has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Alves moves out of range as Morrowind strikes.
Morrowind scores with a body shot.
Morrowind displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Morrowind is just out of range.
Morrowind jabs Alves to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alves takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Morrowind misses with a wild body shot.

Morrowind drops Alves with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Alves looks back up at him and smiles so Morrowind waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Alves is rocked!

Alves ducks into an uppercut from Morrowind and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
