The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gonzalez scores with a punch to the head.
Aisa thuds a left hand into Gonzalez's body.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aisa sprawls well. Aisa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet.
Aisa throws a lazy head kick
and Gonzalez counters with a left and a right that stings Aisa.
Aisa seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Aisa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gonzalez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Aisa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Miguel Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circling - Aisa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gonzalez manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheers as Aisa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzalez doesn't seem phased though.

Aisa throws a punch but it's blocked by Gonzalez.

Gonzalez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Aisa lands with a right to the head.

Gonzalez works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Gonzalez wants to control from the top but Aisa keeps moving.
Aisa pulls Gonzalez in close to prevent any damage.
Aisa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Gonzalez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Melcone Aisa will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aisa loads up on a big right hand but Gonzalez slips the punch.
Aisa tries a head kick but it misses.
Aisa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gonzalez throws out a counter right but Aisa avoids it with no problem.
Aisa walks into a straight right hand from Gonzalez.

Aisa is rocked!
Gonzalez throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Aisa crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
