PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fray Bentos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doyle Brunson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bentos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mama Said Knock You Out. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Doyle Brunson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson slips under a jab.
Brunson throws a hook to the side of Bentos's head but Bentos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brunson stuns Bentos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Brunson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bentos is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Brunson looks to score with a jab to the body but Bentos is just out of range.

Brunson rushes Bentos and presses him up against the cage.
Bentos blocks an elbow strike from Brunson.
Bentos avoids the elbow strike from Brunson, against the cage.
Bentos takes an elbow to the forehead.
Brunson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Brunson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bentos looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Doyle Brunson!
A very excited looking Doyle Brunson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
