Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yogi Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Dux acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yogi Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear scores with a jab to the body.
Bear throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dux tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dux swings widly with a right hand
and Bear connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dux rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Bear counter with a right hand.
Dux throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bear counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bear just misses with a punch to the body.
Dux misses with a body punch
and Bear connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dux tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it.
Bear wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Bear has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dux throws out a leg kick but Bear moves out of range and Dux only half commits.
Dux misses with an uppercut. Bear saw that one coming.
Bear digs a good hook to Dux's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dux throws a poor cross that misses
and Bear counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bear has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bear there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bear sprawls well. Bear wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dux gets slowly back to his feet.

Dux misses with a combination
letting Bear counter with a right hand.
Dux throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dux lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dux is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dux cracks Bear with an open hand slap.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dux. Bear does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bear is looking for a counter combo.
Dux looks to score with a jab to the body but Bear is just out of range.
Dux swings widly with a right hand
and Dux takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bear throws out a loose jab but Dux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dux looks to throw the jab but Bear is out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dux closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bear did well to prevent Dux getting side control.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dux working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dux content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dux works his foot free and advances to mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Dux there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dux throwing strikes here but Bear is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dux can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bear is looking to escape.

Dux throws a strike there. Bear manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Dux is trying to control. Bear wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Dux is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bear is just riding it out for now. Dux eventually gives up the hold.
Dux is looking to stall here but Bear recovers full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dux working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dux trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dux might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bear haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Dux tries to free his leg and advance position but Bear is retaining full guard.
Bear keeping moving, preventing Dux from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yogi Bear will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Dux clinches.
Dux throws a head punch that misses.
Dux is trying to drag Bear to the mat but Bear just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Dux lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dux's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Dux manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dux is defended easily by Bear.
A quick step to the side and Bear tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Frank Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dux throws an off balance right hand
and Dux takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dux smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dux throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear misses with a shot to the body
and Dux connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bear slips a straight right by Dux.
Bear went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dux misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bear counters with a stiff right hand.
Dux throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Bear counter with a right hand.
Dux comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dux steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bear.
Yogi Bear is winning the standup battle so far.
Dux throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bear dips to his left and cracks Dux with an uppercut!

Dux shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dux is looking to take a break and control but Bear is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dux throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bear to regain full guard.
Dux looking to pass the guard.
Dux landing some decent shots from guard.
Dux throws an elbow that misses. Bear uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dux's guard. Nice move by Bear!

Bear has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bear has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dux is proving hard to escape from.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dux is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bear defends well.
Bear wanted to stand there but Dux had control of the position.

Dux has a closed guard, preventing Bear from standing up.

Dux escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bear gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dux has his feet on Bear's thighs here. He's pushed Bear off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bear screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Frank Dux!
A very excited looking Frank Dux made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
