The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Imbula can pounce on him.
Imbula throws a nice inside leg kick.
Imbula takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Imbula tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ray changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Good leg kick by Imbula there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Imbula connects with a nice looking jab.
Imbula throws the left hand but Ray avoids the punch easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Imbula.
Imbula ducks under a wild hook from Ray.
Imbula is looking to land body kicks.
Imbula throws a leg kick which misses Ray's front leg but catches the back leg as Ray tries to avoid it.
Imbula throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Ray rushes Imbula and presses him up against the cage.
Ray lands a body punch in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ray stalling the fight.
Ray content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Ray seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Imbula breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Imbula finds it's way through Ray's defenses.

Nice straight punches there by Ray. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ray.
Imbula cracks Ray with a good jab.

Imbula wants to slow Ray down by chopping away at his legs.
Ray changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Imbula just misses with a punch to the body.
Ray tries to counter with a takedown but Imbula is quick to defend against it.
Imbula looks to land a left hand but Ray moved out of range nicely.
Ray gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Imbula.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ray moves out of range as Imbula throws a body kick.
Imbula connects with a solid leg kick.
Cheik Imbula is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ray takes a swing at Imbula's ribcage but misses.
Imbula throws a head kick that half lands.

Ray is rocked!

It looks like Jake Ray has been cut.
Imbula throws an overhand right that drops Ray like a sack of potatoes! Imbula dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
