Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Salgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes to the cage accompanied by Life Is Beautiful. Junior Brandon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco Salgado!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salgado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Francisco Salgado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Salgado to score with a decent uppercut.
Salgado scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Salgado scores with a leg kick.
Brandon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Salgado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brandon is in Salgado's guard.
Salgado being controlled here, momentarily.
Brandon has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Brandon pushes down on Salgado's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brandon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Salgado keeps working.
Salgado pushes Brandon off looking to stand but Brandon dives back in and keeps control.

Brandon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salgado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Salgado wants to get back to his feet but Brandon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Salgado has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brandon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Brandon looks to throw the jab but Salgado is out of range.
Brandon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brandon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Brandon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Salgado finds it's way round the side to connect with Brandon's head.
Brandon tries to clinch up.
Brandon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salgado's waist but Salgado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brandon off to one side.
Salgado lands a big head kick that sends Brandon tumbling to the mat! Salgado takes a step backwards and waves Brandon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Brandon is rocked!
It looks like Junior Brandon has been cut.
No joy there for Salgado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oh Brandon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Salgado misses with a right hand
and Brandon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Well, if Brandon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Salgado makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Brandon seems to have got his legs back now.
Brandon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Salgado.
Salgado misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brandon tried to counter with a leg kick but Salgado avoided it.
Salgado displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Salgado wobbles Brandon with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Salgado dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Brandon to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
