The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weatherspoon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Weatherspoon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Weatherspoon shoots in but no luck this time.
A jab lands there for Joukahainen.
It looks like Marquan Weatherspoon has been cut.
No luck for Weatherspoon with that takedown attempt.
Joukahainen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Joukahainen.
Joukahainen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight.
Weatherspoon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joukahainen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weatherspoon somewhat.
Jorma Joukahainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marquan Weatherspoon.
Joukahainen throws a nice looking combination but Weatherspoon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Weatherspoon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Joukahainen.
Weatherspoon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joukahainen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Weatherspoon right on the button. Weatherspoon goes down! Joukahainen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Joukahainen gets the win via TKO!
