Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Donal Maciver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maciver swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sumo.
Sumo takes one to the chin there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maciver scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Maciver fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Sumo walks into a big right hand from Maciver and goes down! The referee sends Maciver to a neutral corner as Sumo gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Sumo's coach down at Land of the Rising Fun was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sumo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Sumo throws a counter combo.
Maciver scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Maciver connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Sumo's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Sumo - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
