Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Elvis Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Bacon!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacon pushes Glass away with a front kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Glass successfully pulls guard.
Bacon wants to stand and escape but instead Glass has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Glass trying to control the position from guard on top but Bacon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Glass trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Glass gets to his feet. Bacon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A nice leg kick lands there from Bacon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bacon slaps away a takedown attempt from Glass, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Glass keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bacon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bacon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Glass has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Glass chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bacon can pounce on him.

Bacon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Glass's sensitive parts.
Glass tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Glass avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bacon clinches up with Glass and pushes him back against the cage.

Glass has clasped his hands together around Bacon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bacon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Glass wants to control but Bacon is keeping him busy.
Glass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Glass working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glass connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bacon some visible discomfort.

Glass grinds an elbow into Bacon's temple.
Bacon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glass. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Glass stands up and beckons Bacon to his feet.
Bacon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bacon throws a leg kick but Glass checks it.
Bacon digs a good body shot into Glass's ribs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bacon. Glass does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bacon throws a head kick that misses.
Bacon looks winded!
Bacon clobbers Glass with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bacon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bacon cracks the inside of Glass's front leg.

Bacon moves into the clinch.
Bacon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Glass prevents Bacon from breaking the clinch.

Bacon manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Glass misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andrew Bacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bacon drives through and clinches with Glass against the cage.
Glass can't get the takedown.

Glass has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bacon regains guard immediately.
Glass is stalling in the full guard.
Glass scoring with punches to the head and body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glass landing with the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Glass is working Bacon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Glass's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Glass scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Bacon is working an open guard so Glass takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Glass dives in for a single leg takedown but Bacon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elvis Glass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Glass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bacon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Glass fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bacon avoids it really well and circles away.
A nice side step and Bacon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bacon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Glass shoots in for a takedown but Bacon shows good takedown defense.
Bacon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrew Bacon dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Glass looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bacon is fending him off so far but Glass persists. Nope, Bacon circles away and we're back to standing.
Bacon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bacon lands a body shot.
A jab from Bacon finds it's way through Glass's defenses.
Bacon scoring well with a low kick there.
Bacon lands a nice looking body shot.
Glass shoots in looking for a takedown. Bacon tries to sprawl out of it but Glass keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bacon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
An inside leg kick lands from Bacon.

Bacon throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bacon lands a high kick!


It looks like Elvis Glass has been cut.
Bacon is breathing heavily.

Glass shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bacon is trying to defend but Glass finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bacon is looking to get back to is feet but Glass passes into side control.

Glass decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A low kick from Bacon is predictable there
and Glass counters with a two punch combo.
Bacon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Glass throws a counter high kick but Bacon was just alert enough to avoid it.
Andrew Bacon seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bacon thows a leg kick but Glass checks it
and Glass counters with a series of strikes. Bacon will be more careful next time no doubt.
Glass is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bacon throws a fast counter high kick but Glass manages to duck under it in time.

Bacon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Glass, pushing him back against the cage.
Glass has Bacon pressed against the cage, preventing Bacon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Glass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bacon tries a head kick but it misses.
Glass attempts a counter takedown but Bacon avoids it well and moves away.
Glass darts in looking for a takedown but Bacon gets double underhooks and turns Glass into the cage.
Andrew Bacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bacon.

Bacon gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Glass struggles to land a body shot inside as Bacon controls his hands.
Bacon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Glass has him pressed against the cage.
Glass throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bacon blocks it with crossed arms.

Bacon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Glass is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bacon to the mat. Bacon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bacon wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Glass manages to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bacon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Glass scores with a couple of nice shots.
Glass is controlling the pace.

Glass is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bacon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Elvis Glass!
