Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuya Shiroo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poto Tupu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiroo comes into the arena with The Gazette / Filth In The Beauty blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tupu's choice of entrance music: Youth Of The Nation. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shiroo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Shiroo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tupu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shiroo is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shiroo is stalling in the full guard.
Tupu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tupu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shiroo manages to get himself to full guard.

Tupu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Shiroo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Tupu is looking for a triangle here but Shiroo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Shiroo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tupu on the side of the head.

It looks like Poto Tupu has been cut.
Shiroo moves out of range of the strikes.
Shiroo sizes up Tupu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tupu lands the left hand.

It looks like Tetsuya Shiroo has been cut.
Tupu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shiroo.
Tupu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tupu throws a body punch but Shiroo moves out of range.
Tupu tries a head kick but it misses.
Shiroo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Tupu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Shiroo lands the left hand.
Tupu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Tupu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shiroo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tupu tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Tupu tries to pass to full mount but Shiroo defends it.

Tetsuya Shiroo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tupu has gone for a leg lock! Shiroo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tupu's guard.

Shiroo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shiroo uses his free foot to push down on Tupu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tupu.
Shiroo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tupu is looking to escape.
Shiroo wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tetsuya Shiroo will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Shiroo catches Tupu with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Shiroo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tupu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shiroo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tupu loads up on a big right hand but Shiroo slips the punch.

That has opened up Poto Tupu's cut even more.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shiroo.
Shiroo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Shiroo misses with a hook. Tupu ducked under it nicely.
Tupu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Tupu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shiroo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tupu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shiroo's guard.
