Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laat Dovah-Kinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. You'll Never Walk Alone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Laat Dovah-Kinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Bone!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dovah-Kinn blocks a jab.
Bone darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bone.
Bone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dovah-Kinn.
Bone catches Dovah-Kinn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bone lands with a good body shot.
Bone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dovah-Kinn circles away quickly and effectively.
Dovah-Kinn misses with a looping right.
Bone now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Dovah-Kinn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Bone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dovah-Kinn is trying to defend but Bone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bone is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dovah-Kinn defends it well.

Bone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bone is looking to take a break and control but Dovah-Kinn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bone looking for a submission but Dovah-Kinn manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bone wants to control from the top but Dovah-Kinn keeps moving.
Bone is fighting to break Dovah-Kinn's control of his arms but Dovah-Kinn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bone scores with the left hand. Dovah-Kinn knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bone fails to land with a series of punches.
Bone shoots in for a double leg but Dovah-Kinn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dovah-Kinn misses with a body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Bone dominated that round.

Bone throws a body shot but no joy.
Bone throws a hook to the side of Dovah-Kinn's head but Dovah-Kinn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dovah-Kinn throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A jab from Bone finds it's way through Dovah-Kinn's defenses.
Bone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dovah-Kinn.
Bone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dovah-Kinn looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dovah-Kinn moves away.
That kick from Dovah-Kinn tenderised Bone's leg. Bone is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dovah-Kinn on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dovah-Kinn blocks a jab.
Bone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dovah-Kinn.
Joe Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dovah-Kinn's head backwards.
A combination from Bone does no damage.

Bone throws a shot from downtown. Dovah-Kinn moves away and avoids it.
Dovah-Kinn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bone.
Bone looks to score with a jab to the body but Dovah-Kinn is just out of range.
Bone catches Dovah-Kinn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Bone throws a jab but it's blocked by Dovah-Kinn.
Dovah-Kinn throws a leg kick but Bone sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dovah-Kinn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bone misses with a looping left.

Dovah-Kinn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dovah-Kinn is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bone is trying to escape and Dovah-Kinn transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bone is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dovah-Kinn! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Laat Dovah-Kinn!
An out of breath Laat Dovah-Kinn thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
