Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Axel Zinith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axel Zinith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zinith with a poor takedown
and Slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zinith has his takedown stuffed
and Slice counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zinith shoots for a double leg takedown but Slice sprawls well. He's pushed Zinith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Axel Zinith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Slice jabs Zinith right on the nose. Zinith blinks but takes it well.
Zinith shoots and misses
and Slice counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Slice throws a good cross that connects.
Zinith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

letting Slice counter with a right hand.

Zinith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Slice throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Zinith fails with a takedown attempt.
Zinith looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Zinith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slice replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Zinith blocks it well.
Zinith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Slice connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kimbo Slice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zinith shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Slice counters with a nice body shot.
Zinith is breathing heavily.
Zinith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slice throws a front kick that sends Zinith stumbling back into the cage.
Zinith takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Zinith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zinith wants to clinch
letting Slice counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zinith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Zinith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slice swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zinith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Slice is trying to keep Zinith in close.
Zinith definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zinith advances position into side control!

Zinith is working to tighten his grip on Slice's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Slice has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Zinith is really squeezing tight and eventually Slice passes out! Zinith breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Axel Zinith!
After winning the bout, Axel Zinith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
