Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Eazy e- real mother fuckin gs. The Convict has chosen Locked up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Convict throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The Convict has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Johnson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

The Convict might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The Convict wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The Convict stalling away here and it's allowed Johnson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to DeShawn Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
