Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dyson Too (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Too might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fivefold – Just Close Your Eyes. Dyson Too had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dyson Too!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hideo Sakurai!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Too tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sakurai swivels and escapes.
Sakurai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Too tries to counter with a takedown but Sakurai is quick to defend against it.
Sakurai lands a body shot.
Too has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Restricted area in the buildup to the fight.
Too scores with a takedown into Sakurai's guard.
Sakurai wants to sweep but no luck.
Too throws an elbow that misses. Sakurai uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Too's guard. Nice move by Sakurai!
Sakurai wants to stand but Too is controlling his posture from full guard.
Sakurai is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sakurai trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sakurai controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sakurai tries to stand but Too is controlling from the bottom.
Too working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sakurai.
Too is striking from the bottom but Sakurai uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sakurai is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Too is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Too is working hard here to advance position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sakurai is taking a breather. Too says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hideo Sakurai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sakurai bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Too's head backwards.
Hideo Sakurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakurai moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sakurai lands with a nice combination. Too backs away looking to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Too tries for a takedown but Sakurai circles away easily
and Sakurai counters with a huge left! Too is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sakurai isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Too from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sakurai!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Sakurai! Hideo Sakurai retains his lightweight title!
After the fight, Hideo Sakurai was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
