Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uebishe Lesnoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noob Saibot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnoe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is It's On!. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uebishe Lesnoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noob Saibot!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnoe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jab, jab by Saibot - just one landing.
Saibot works Lesnoe's body with a nice hook.
Saibot has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Saibot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lesnoe's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnoe gets full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saibot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lesnoe has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Lesnoe controls Saibot momentarily but Saibot frees himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saibot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesnoe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lesnoe is trying to maintain the position but Saibot is very close to passing his half guard.
Saibot wants to pass to mount but Lesnoe is defending the position.
Lesnoe wants to improve his position but Saibot is controlling well.
Lesnoe wants to control but Saibot is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lesnoe is trying to get back to full guard.

Saibot drops back looking for a leg! Lesnoe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lesnoe manages to kick Saibot off! Saibot jumps back into Lesnoe's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lesnoe holds on and takes a little breather.
Saibot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lesnoe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Saibot has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lesnoe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Saibot wants to pass the guard but Lesnoe is keeping the position.
Lesnoe has momentary wrist control but Saibot slips an elbow through the middle.
Saibot is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Saibot content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lesnoe. Saibot does a little dance to reset his feet.
Saibot throws out a counter right but Lesnoe avoids it with no problem.
Lesnoe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lesnoe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Saibot lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesnoe circles away quickly and effectively.

Saibot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lesnoe has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Saibot should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lesnoe has tightened it up now! Saibot should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
